Adelante Fund

Juana Bordas, as a multicultural leadership expert, was invited to the 2014 Awards Gala.

The 2014 Awards Gala is the Grand Finale of the Leadership Institute & Recruitment Expo. It brings together the wonderful people who support our work, and gives us the opportunity to honor America’s top Hispanic college talent as they prepare to embark on their professional journeys.

This year, Adelante celebrates its 15th Anniversary as a non-profit organization. In this short period of time, we have partnered with 70 colleges and universities across the United States, served thousands of college students and their families through our National Leadership Institute, Regional Conferences, Parent Events, and awarded almost $2 million dollars in scholarships to date.  On a daily basis, Adelante continues to see life trajectories begin to change as the result of a conversation, a workshop, a scholarship, an internship, or a connection   all efforts to ensure the future success of tomorrow’s leaders.

Our Awards Gala gives us a chance to recognize guests who have played a critical role in making our work possible for the deserving Hispanic college students we serve. Without our sponsors and advocates, we wouldn’t be able to continue the important work we do.

Everyday, Adelante strives to ensure students have the resources, support and opportunities to graduate from college and become the best they can be.
