The Latino community grew 60% in the 1990’s and has a market power estimated at $716 billion. The challenge to better serve the burgeoning Hispanic market, however, is contingent on developing competent Latino leaders at all levels of an organization...but particularly in the executive ranks.
The Latino Leadership Development Program (LLDP) was designed to meet this need by assisting mid-level to senior-level managers become more effective organizational leaders, increase their visibility, and strengthen their management capacity.

A Professional Development Process
The LLDP is a professional development process combining individual assessment, one-on-one coaching, and peer feedback. Participants learn about their assets and developmental needs and then develop an action plan that capitalizes on their strengths and builds on their leadership potential.
TESTING & ASSESSMENT
Three personality assessment tools offer insights into leadership style and effectiveness. A 360-degree feedback questionnaire provides information from colleagues, supervisors and direct reports offering a comprehensive view of strengths and growth opportunities.
PERSONALIZE FEEDBACK
A one-on-one three-hour consultation with a professional feedback coach analyzes themes revealed by assessment information, identifies strategies to address these, and assists with goal setting for future development.
PEER COACHING
Research on executives identifies feedback for development as one of three essential success factors. Peer coaching provides an opportunity to practice giving and receiving feedback, learn how others see your behavior and improve interpersonal relationships.
Follow-up Opportunities
To maximize the benefits from their LLDP experience, participants have the following options:
- Continue one-on-one coaching sessions
- Attend advanced seminars offered by Mestiza Leadership International
- Arrange in-house training for their organization
All participants receive a 90-day goal setting update and become part of the Latino Network of LLDP graduates.
